Bewitched...That was my favorite show...I watched it every chance I got. I only got to see it as a rerun, but I have seen every episode. I have all the season on DVD, and my 9 year old daughter has see all of them, with me...We get ready for bed and turn on the DVD's...Mainly in the winter, when theirs nothing to do and nothing on TV....At least we can watch Bewitched with out worry of what she might see or hear....

What is your favorite 70's show, and what made it your favorite...????

[grin] You are cracking me up! You don't seriously believe anyone would know that without cheating on google? I have to agree, I absolutely love the old reruns, and I have to say that I think it is smart to have your child watch shows of humor and laughter instead of the current junk. There are a couple of shows I feel were excellent during that era. Little House on the Praire and I can't think of the name of it -- at end of show -- when all in bed -- everyone said goodnight from different parts of the house. I guess I think they are good because they often deal with right and wrong and consequences and solutions. :)

LOL I used to pretend I was Sam and could wiggle my little nose and get whatever I wanted!! I wached Tabatha too about her little girl growing up and going out on her own. Loved Tabatha when she was a little girl, she was so cute!! She is probably about the only actress still alive from that show now. Wonder what she is doing?

They just don't make TV like that anymore!!

The Bob Newhart Show was my favourite show of that era. I can still watch them on my laptop on Hulu.com His second series was good but I liked the first one best. I appreciate his dry sense of humor. Have seen him in person, he is still good. As a kid I watched Bewitched but as reruns I now prefer I dream of Jeannie, my wife and I used to watch the summer marathon on Nick at Nite with Jeannie on every night.

As a kid, we grew up in Rockford, Michigan, where Dick York lived the last of his life. My sister was such a groupie and she loved Dick York. Somtime in the mid 1980's she talked a cousin into stopping by his house for a visit. She said it was very sad... I don't think he'd had anyone come to see him in a long time. He kept calling her his "angel." He died a few years later, penniless and basically alone.

I know. Life lesson... people on TV and movies are only human. She was pretty young at the time of the visit (around 18 I think), and he was so lonely that it scared her.
